How expensive is a Vector aircraft tracking system?

As they say, "If you've seen one airport, you've seen one airport." The price for a typical Vector system installed at a general aviation airport is a function of the complexity of the airport's runway and taxiway patterns. Similarly, system operational and maintenance costs vary, depending on the number of systems required to track and identify traffic at various choke points on the airfield, and whether AC or solar power is required to power the system. In virtually every situation, Vector is a lower-cost, higher value option for landing fee management and aircraft tracking.

Vector is flexible in its pricing approach recognizing the budget challenges of general aviation, and the mix of grants, state and local funding, and revenue sources airports manage to fund operations. For example, we typically offer a success-based fee - a percentage of collections -- for our landing fee management solution, FlightRev.

Vector typically offers an innovative success-based pricing model for FlightRev: a low percentage of revenue collected. The percentage varies and is dependent on a forecast of billings - generally the higher the billings, the lower the percentage. Vector prices the opportunity to ensure that a significant majority of revenue collected is returned back to the airport. We're flexible in our pricing approach recognizing the budget challenges of general aviation airports, and the mix of grants, state and local funding, and revenue sources airports manage to fund operations.
