FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Vector is now accepting resumes for a Finance and Administration Manager position. The position requires a highly detailed and organized, self-motivated, adaptable finance and administration professional who is already adept in most elements of small business administration. A solid work ethic, consistent initiative, and a focus on results are must-haves as is the ability to tell a story with numbers. This is a highly autonomous position with only our accounting and tax prep functions outsourced. With guidance from Vector’s President and Director of Operations you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

· Financial analysis – rely heavily on your advanced MS Excel spreadsheet skills for ad-hoc analysis of expenses, revenues, trends, spot problems and work to resolve them. If you do not already regularly build Excel spreadsheets with advanced formulas and functions, we cannot consider you for this job.

· Basic Accounting - AP, AR/billing, and assistance with tax filings and other compliance matters, help produce/analyze P&L, balance sheet, cash flow projections, budgets, etc.

· Bookkeeping - maintain accounting records using our Unanet system.

· Financial Statements - help produce/analyze P&L, balance sheet, cash flow projections, budgets, etc.

· Liability Insurance

· Contracts - Basic contract management, record keeping, and contract review

Other Responsibilities:

· Employee Benefits – health, dental, 401k, etc.

· Payroll - review and payroll processor management

· Electronic Document/File Management – working mostly in a cloud-environment

· Time-keeping – manage the system, setup, reporting, etc.

· Vendor Management - including vendor price competitive analysis, negotiations

· Hiring/Recruiting/HR – support hiring process, onboard new employees, help administer our human capital management system

Requirements:

· Advanced MS Excel experience – Indeed Excel assessment must be completed

· 3+ years accounting/ bookkeeping experience – Indeed bookkeeping assessment must be completed

· MUST be extremely organized with uncommon attention to detail

· Very Proficient with MS Word and familiar with MS Office 365

· Be fluent in spoken and written English

· Excellent verbal/written communication abilities

· Willing to pitch in wherever needed

· You currently live within a 30-minute drive of Herndon, VA

· Ability to work from home during Covid-19 in a distraction-free environment

· Four-year college degree required from an accredited institution, prefer Business Degree

SAFETY TECHNICIAN

Vector is now accepting resumes to fill Safety Technician position(s) at various experience levels. Vector is looking for organized, experienced, self-reliant, energetic, technically oriented people to carry out the exciting and diverse tasks in support of the FAA Airport Technology Research and Development program at the William J Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ.

Responsibilities:

· Understanding of FAA air traffic systems and tools required for analysis

· Developing hardware from proposal to project close out.

· Understanding Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and the ability to comply with them

· Ability to understand engineering drawings and test plans to facilitate the fabrication of prototypes regarding FAA contacts.

· Strong written and technical writing skills

· Strong Commutation skills, the ability to work with a project manager to produce technical reports and documents

· Build, test, and maintain equipment that is built according to ground plans and technical drawings.

Requirements:

PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities:

· Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

· Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

· Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

· Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

· Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in regard to FAA contact needs

· Perform risk management to minimize project risks

· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

· Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels

· Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

· Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

· Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

· Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

Requirements:

AIRPORT TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH ANALYST

Responsibilities:

· Maintain information technology strategies 

· Research and implement technological strategic solutions regarding specifications given by the FAA 

· Direct technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects 

· Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes 

· Identify safety risk management regarding Unmanned Aircraft systems and a variety of aviation systems 

· Maintain comprehensive case documentation within specification provided by the FAA 

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree (Technical, Engineering, Computer science, or Aviation Preferred) + 5 years of experience in airport management, operations, or airport design.

LEAD TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Vector Airport Systems is looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join the team and help Vector provide solutions to some of the most challenging problems at airports all over the United States. 

Responsibilities:

· Work with product owners and stakeholders to ensure bugs and work items have testable acceptance criteria and drive our efforts to ensure that all criteria are met

· Lead development of high-quality automated tests and help impart good testing practices throughout the agile team

· Identify and implement test automation tools and infrastructure, including integration with Azure DevOps

· Improve and automate data analysis and evaluate effectiveness of association and correlation technology

· Be a member of an agile software development team, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, story review, and retrospective meetings

· Work with business leadership and development team to define and implement quality assurance processes

· Coach software development team members in their role of continuing building/updating the automated testing ‘harness’ on a regular and ongoing basis  

Requirements:

· 3+ years of test automation experience including building an automated test suite

· Passion for achieving high-quality solutions and driving quality assurance processes

· Hands on experience testing C# .NET/Angular/JavaScript applications, Azure hosted infrastructure and cloud services

· Experience developing manual test scripts and maintaining test cases and test suites

· Knowledge and experience writing custom test automation scripts and frameworks

· Hands-on experience with BDD methodology and frameworks

· Extensive knowledge of quality assurance approaches and philosophies

· Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent professional experience

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
