About the Position:​

PLANEPASS® is Vector’s proprietary accounts receivable management solution for airports. We seek a dynamic manager to lead the PLANEPASS® department and oversee a team of nine (and growing) to ensure operational goals are met and exceeded. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive technical understanding of all stages of the accounts receivable cycle and a proven track record of increasing operational efficiency and accuracy. This role requires a proactive approach to managing departmental operations and the ability to foster the professional growth of team members by sharing knowledge and promoting skill development. As the department manager, you will collaborate with senior management to establish departmental goals, generate new SOPs, and refine existing ones to meet those goals. The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and all levels of leadership is essential. We seek someone with the flexibility and willingness to jump in to assist the team with any and all tasks. 

Managerial Responsibilities:
  • Research, develop, and implement customer service and collection procedures to increase overall departmental efficiency and increase revenue.    

  • Strategies for late-stage receivables.   

  • Develop the department’s priorities and create schedules and assignments to achieve operational goals.

  • Resolve escalated issues and requests quickly and effectively by deciding the best course of action.

  • Ensure the department maintains Vector’s collection success rate and customer service standards.

  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports.

  • Measure productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.

  • Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

  • Coordinate training programs for new staff and identify ongoing training needs for current staff, providing mentorship as needed.

  • Assist in all departmental tasks as needed to ensure the team’s success as a group, including customer service, collections, reporting, and other ad hoc requests.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent management and supervisory skills. 

  • Experience in business and consumer collections. 

  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data as needed to establish goals.

  • Proficient in accounts receivable and collection practices

  • Experience coordinating an expansive portfolio of data validation in a tight invoicing timeframe.   

  • Knowledge of best practices in enterprise-level banking.   

  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills.    

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.    

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.    

  • Proficient in Microso􀀂 Office Suite or similar software.

Vector is looking for an experienced UX Lead to join a distributed team and help Vector provide solutions to some of the most challenging problems facing today’s airports.

  • Develop and deploy Azure-hosted C# .NET apps/microservices 

  • Design new and enhance existing JavaScript/Angular front-end applications 

  • Migrate existing applications and features to Vector’s next-gen architecture

Vector Airport Systems is a growing international aviation company with a positive team culture and an emphasis on visionary leadership. We are seeking a full-time Sales Representative that will work as part of our Sales and Marketing teams to perform “top of funnel” activities, lead management, deal management, and drive overall brand awareness. The ideal candidate will possess experience in software sales or technology service outsourcing. The sales representative will have assigned accounts throughout the United States and focus on new sales opportunity creation and wins. This role is focused on selling our software and services to new and existing airport clients. The Sales Representative will be responsible for proactive outreach, beginning with lead generation and continuing through all phases of the sales process, culminating in a sale win/close. This position is supported by senior executives for subject matter expertise and will include onboarding and training in sales skills and processes. This position can be from a remote location.

  • Generate sales and promote market growth within your territory

  • Work with Marketing Team to ensure strong lead flow

  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions

  • Build and lead pursuit teams for larger opportunities

  • Pursue leads generated by yourself and our inbound and outbound marketing efforts

  • Educate and guide prospects through the buying process

  • Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed established sales objectives

  • Manage all aspects sales in your territory including prospecting, activity tracking, opportunity management, forecasting revenue, contract management and closing deals

  • Document all conversations, activities, and emails in our Hubspot CRM

  • Confident, competitive, thorough, flexible, resilient, and tenacious

  • Proven to be capable of managing 30 or more active opportunities and meeting sales objectives by closing 15 or more opportunities per year

  • 3 to 5 years previous selling experience. Selling to government or airports is a plus

  • Experience with SaaS sales and or financial collection industry sales is a plus

  • Ability to travel when required for conferences, shows and client visits (<10% of time)

  • Fluent in spoken and written English
