Eight months after implementation, the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport has realized an average month-to-month increase of over 20% using PlanePass- Vector’s automated landing fee billing service.

Aspen, Colorado - October 22, 2018

Vector Airport Systems, the leading supplier of automated aircraft identification, aircraft fee billing, and noise and operations management systems (NOMS), is pleased to announce that the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport (KASE) deployed Vector’s automated aircraft fee billing system, PlanePass, starting January 1, 2018. Over the past eight months of operation, the Airport has seen a month-to-month increase in landing fee revenue collections and gained valuable insight into Airport operations and the billing process.

Airport Controller, Chris Padilla, knew how much total revenue was being generated from landing fees but lacked the tools necessary to audit the collections process. Once installed, Chris realized that in addition to implementing a more modernized approach to aircraft fee billing, PlanePass also allowed him to review all the landing fee collection details for accuracy.

“Vector’s system has made the billing and collections process very streamlined and much more transparent,” says Chris. “The ability to track our landing fee revenues along with detailed breakdowns of monthly reports have greatly improved our metrics reporting. Vector’s full-service billing and collection group has been responsive, courteous and an asset to our revenue collection. The Airport Portal also gives us better understanding of our airport traffic.”

After reviewing the capabilities and performance of the Vector system, Airport Director John Kinney noted “Vector delivered on their promises.”

A random post I read earlier included Shoyoroll Gi   , so I took a moment to check it out. I only spent a short time navigating through it, mainly to understand how things were set up. The layout looks quite organized, and the design feels simple enough to follow. It doesn’t take long to get used to where everything is. Even without spending much time, the overall experience feels quite smooth and manageable.

This is a great example of how automation can improve efficiency and transparency in airport operations. It’s interesting to see how digital systems like PlanePass help increase revenue while improving reporting accuracy and management. It reminds me of the Everest High Pass Trek, where proper planning, tracking, and organization are also essential to manage long and challenging routes smoothly. In both cases, good systems make complex journeys or operations much more efficient and reliable.

This is really impressive! Seeing a 20% increase in landing fee revenue shows how effective PlanePass is. I love how it makes the billing process transparent and easy to track. It’s exciting to see airports improving operations—just like how travelers planning a Nepal tour rely on smooth airport experiences for a hassle-free start to their adventure.

Great interview, but if I'm being honest felt more like 'why I'm still a Calvinist' than 'Christian'. I respect that Kristen's faith tradition is important to her, and she can obviously share to the level she feels comfortable with and no more, but this was a very intellectual conversation. I'd have appreciated hearing more about Kristen's personal faith in Jesus Himself and why that is not shaken despite the attacks she's endured. picarobomboniere

It’s amazing to see how automation makes airport operations smoother and clearer. Tools like PlanePass not only boost revenue but also give real-time insights into daily operations. The same careful planning shows up on treks like the Everest High Pass Trek. Supporting tourism, local communities, and safety all requires smart organization. Technology truly transforms experiences—whether at airports or in the Himalayas!
